ZwickRoell USA to Exhibit Portfolio of Solutions for the Automotive Industry at Automotive Testing Expo 2018

ZwickRoell USA will exhibit a portfolio of state-of-the-art solutions for the testing of materials and components used in automotive applications at the Automotive Testing Expo to be held at the Suburban Collection Showplace, Novi, Michigan, October 23-25.

ZwickRoell industry experts will give product demonstrations of a 10 kN AllroundLine testing system and a zwickiLine universal testing machine. Specialists will also be on hand to discuss application questions and demo ZwickRoell’s industry-leading testXpert III testing software.

From drive systems to electronics, ZwickRoell provides testing solutions for all segments of the automotive industry. The innovative testing systems are designed to address fundamental challenges, such as the use of materials and joining technology, as well as comprehensive testing of all relevant vehicle segments, from engines to the chassis, body, interior, and safety, to electronics and mechatronics.

“ZwickRoell understands the challenges the automotive industry faces today, from reducing emissions to improving safety. That is why reliable test results play a key role in all stages of automotive and components development,” explains Florian Liebert, managing director of ZwickRoell USA.

“We offer a wide range of testing machines that are modularly designed to address all automotive testing requirements. Our testXpert III software supports suppliers and vehicle manufacturers in implementing testing requirements to ISO and ASTM,” says Liebert.

AllroundLine testing systems from ZwickRoell deliver the highest levels of flexibility and simplify the process of managing testing protocols. Dual test areas reduce changeover time between tests, maintaining result reproducibility and making the acquisition of a second testing machine unnecessary. Two testing applications can be run immediately, while only one load cell is required for the entire testing system. A flexible plug and slot system allows specimen grips and test fixtures to be changed whenever required, enabling a wide range of tests to be performed with the same testing machine and allowing rapid, highly flexible adaptation to the current testing situation. AllroundLine testing systems feature patented Xforce load cells, which offer excellent resistance to overloads and parasitic influences.
